Nicki’s workshops, short courses and other events
COVID precautions
At the moment Nicki has a few workshops organised at Hope & Elvis where it is easy to ensure everyone’s safety with respect to COVID-19. The studio is large, airy and easy to ventilate. The number of students will be low, relative to the size of the studio, which means students can have a large work area and maintain social distance. The studio will be thoroughly cleaned beforehand and surfaces and handles will be cleaned throughout the day. There will be plenty of soap and sanitiser gel around the studio, and Dettol sprays for the toilet. Visors will be provided to wear when watching demonstrations. Any equipment that is shared will be wiped between uses.
Nicki is teaching one-to-one tutorials at the Being Knitterly Studio. Weather-permitting, these will be outdoors. Alternatively, tutorials will take place inside, wearing visors. In both cases, the work area will be thoroughly cleaned before the tutorial, sanitiser gel will be provided, and any equipment that is shared will be wiped between uses. Tutorials will be limited to one hour long.
Other teaching (short courses and workshops) at the Being Knitterly Studio is on hold until more than one household is allowed to visit homes.
